Evidence of editing:

Evidence of editing: Final cut

Here is some evidence that me and Rediola have been putting together and editing our music video.

These are a section of our footage for Ashleigh's independent shots, Rediola and myself scrolled through all of the videos, watching them over and choosing the most appropriate, clearest, and the highest quality of them all. We would them bring them down into music video and cutting it accurately.

After downloading the music I inserted it into final cut and clicked M on the key board in order to add a little blue tab along the music. I did this whenever I heard a strong beat, or an area that I would want to cut a piece of footage at on order to ensure editing is on beat.

After putting most of the footage together and cutting it so that the music video is on beat to the music we added filters or effects to make the footage more interesting. I think that this bad television effect suits the graffiti skatepark as it creates an unrealistic approach and makes it seem more detailed. I also think that the fact the effect blurs the wall is beneficial and provides depth.

At this point we are cutting footage of Hannah to ensure that it fits within the blue pages we have created making sure it is on beat to the music.

The beginning shots of the girls were all filmed in different locations in order to represent a sense of individuality, however, doing this meant that each of the scenes have slightly different lighting. in order to fix this we chose the colour corrector effect and then altered colour, saturation and exposure of the shots on the colour board in order to adjust them all and make them all similar.
